On tap at The Veil in Richmond.
Pours a hazy orange with fine, soft foam.
Smell is dank and grassy with notes of citrus and mango, along with something slightly vegetable.
Taste stays on the dank path, along with grass clippings, citrus and mango, and that little, tiny whiff of vegetable broth again.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice DIPA with the usual, great mouthfeel The Veil usuallly have.

I know that the word “dank” is overused and underdescribed at times but this one earns it. Smell wafts green onion, earthy clay and turnip. Yes, turnip. Taste doesn’t stray too far from the impression from the smell, as first up is big green onion, followed by turnip with a little bit of grass sprinkled in. Aftertaste is saccharine sweet with some earthy bitterness. Otherwise, finishes wet and medium bodied. Super complex beer with what seems like above average attention to detail throughout the whole experience.
