For blackferrari our finest Citra and Galaxy hops went into the abyss of this inky Black Double IPA and the results are awesome. Think blackivy malt bill with the whiteferrari hopping.

The beer pours a nice brown and dark tan head. The beer itself is a good dark chocolate black that looks pretty inviting with a nice smooth texture.
The smell is a good balance between cocoa and roasted malt notes, and a sharp grapefruit hop note. The hop note is upfront with a supporting malt note.
The taste is good. It’s the same notes but with a much more hop forward and softer malt note.
The beer is medium bodied with a slight acidity and slight dry finish. It is smooth but slighty watery.
This is definitely one of the strongest Black IPAs I’ve had.

Nice roasted/malt taste with a bittersweet and hoppy finish. Deep black pour that leaves some nice lacing behind. Never had a black ipa I liked until now. Very good!
