On nitro tap at The Veil Brewing in Richmond, VA.
This smells like roasted malt, smoke, pine, cream, and tobacco.
This well done, and pretty much to style, when it comes to dry stouts. There’s an herbal bitterness from the roast that feels tobacco-like. There’s a slight hop bitterness, and a great creamy flavor.
This drinks bigger than the ABV, with a great creamy drinkability.
I don’t usually love beers on nitro, but this got the job done.
