The beer has a nice black coffee appearance to it. The smell has as good baker's chocolate and sweet syrup note with a hint of marshmallow with a hint of blueberries. The taste is a bit weird. The chocolate and syrup come out early but last well all the way to the finish. The marshmallow note also comes out and really tastes like blueberry pancakes with all that stuff. The beer is heavy and smooth with a nice tingling carbonation. The beer got better when it warmed up and the notes came out. It was an interesting beer but it seemed to be trying to do too much.
