L: Had this beer on-tap at The Answer Brewpub, poured into a taster. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, chili peppers, malt, spices, and marshmallows.
T: Tasted of a decent amount of spices (cinnamon, in particular), some marshmallows (pretty sweet), a bit of malt (present throughout), lots of chocolate (a big factor), and a tinge of Ancho chili peppers. A nice and complex flavor. It's not as spicy as I expected, but the chocolate and other elements more than made up for it.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a silky smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well-made, easy to drink stout. Drinkable.

On tap at The Veil Brewing in Richmond, VA.
This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like chocolate fudge, vanilla, light pepper spice, and molasses.
This is sweet, like most of this series, but it doesn’t approach cloying territory, like much of this series. The pepper carries that objective nicely, adding a subtle tasty spice. The base stout itself is just crazy chocolate-forward in a wonderful way. There’s fudge and maple and brown sugar and molasses, plus a silky vanilla note.
This is thick and chewy, and very very creamy, with a great level of drinkability.
This is easily one of the better variants in this series - it feels much more balanced than I would have expected.
