Bottle, 500ml.
Look: pours dark brown/black. The head dissipates very fast.
Smell: bourbon, chocolate and vanilla
Taste: Dark chocolate upfront with a nice fruity afer taste from the cherries. The cherry that was lacking in the smell is good present in the taste.
Mouthfeel: thick and quite slick, almost no carbonation present.
Overall: good beer which I would definitely buy again.

Presentation: 500mL brown bottle with the bottling date printed on the label. Served in a tulip shaped tumbler.
Appearance: It pours thick and heavy with no head but some dark tan bubbles show up after the pour though. It leaves behind some patchy lacing and the beer coats the glass in oily sheets. It's a dark, murky, brown color just like used motor oil.
Smell: It's wonderfully aromatic with a lot of layers. At first some cherry and coconut come through, followed by brown sugar, vanilla and dark chocolate. A musty, oak note shows up in the background as well.
Taste: There's a sweet, vanilla and brown sugar flavor first, then a lot of darker, roasted notes of charred oak, black coffee, cocoa powder and heavily roasted malt show up. It finishes with faint, fruity cherry.
Mouthfeel: It's extremely thick and oily but it never gets overwhelming or difficult to drink. Velvety smooth with little to no carbonation.
Overall: Fantastic in every sense. The scent and taste are both great and it's also pretty amazing how despite the thick, oily texture and big ABV this is still so approachable. A masterpiece of a beer by The Veil and 18th Street.

The beer pours a nice brown head that dissipates very quickly while the beer itself is a slick and oily dark chocolate brown that looks very nice.
The smell is absolutely wonderful and extremely interesting. The main notes that come upfront with a sweet bourbon and milky chocolate with a bit of vanilla and a sweet cherry in the finish.
The taste is also pretty good. The bourbon and cherry notes are a bit more pronounced and dominate the taste. The cherry is sweet and finishes well. The chocolate comes out but gets hidden by the bourbon. Rather the chocolate comes out in the finish and lingers longer than the other notes.
The feel is pretty good. It has a heavy body but extremely slick and silky. There is very little, if any carbonation.
Overall, this is a pretty good beer and one worth getting.

On draft at The Veil Norfolk
Look: Jet black with a medium mocha head.
Nose: Bourbon, dark chocolate, cherries, and vanilla.
Taste: Milk and dark chocolate up front with vanilla hints. Then the dark cherries come forward to meld with the chocolate notes and a nice bourbon finish.
Feel: Viscious and sweet. Mild bitterness and acidity. Medium plus alcohol but smooth given the ABV.
Overall: My favorite of the bunch and Dark Daze. Complex with clean flavors.
