The beer pours a bubbly white head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself has an interesting look. It's very cloudy with orange and brown hues. The orange looks like honey while the brown is closer to what you might find in amber. However, the beer seems to have a slight pink color when being poured.
The smell is good. The orange and raspberry notes come upfront with the orange sweetness and the raspberry's tartness with a little bit of its sweetness as well. The funk notes follows them and slowly overtakes the fruit notes in the finish. There is a slight wood note too.
The taste is decent. It has an interesting mix of different notes. There is a slight honey malt note through it all and adds a nice sweetness to contrast the fruit and funk notes. The beer is fairly funky with a slight raspberry tart note to it. The orange note seems to be overwhelmed by the funk but still manages to come out a little bit to give that sweet note. The hopes are hidden underneath all the other notes but still give a general earthy bitterness to the beer.
The feel is pretty good. It has a light body with tiny carbonation and goes down smoothly. However, there does seem to be a tiny bit more weight coming out in the middle.
Overall, a delicious wild ale worth getting and perfect for the heat.
