The beer pours a nice white head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a cloudy yellow with some hints of orange at the bottom.

The beer smell is pretty good. It has a good and bitter pine and grapefruit note upfront and a little bit of rind comes out as well. It isn't overly complicated and fairly straightforward, which is pretty nice for a change.

The taste is good. It has a good bright orange note that comes straight out with bits of grapefruit around the edges. The grassy and bitter pine notes are spread out very well through the whole thing.

The feel is good. It has a nice medium body that resembles juice but feels a little thin.

Overall, this is a delicious beer that was made for a good cause.

16 oz. can dated 4/21/20. Poured into Teku glass. This is part of a nationwide collaboration in response to COVID-19. The Veil's is hopped with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Cascade.

L: 1F white fluffy head with not much retention, leaves spotty lacing and a ring. Beer is a hazy golden orange.

S: Orange, grapefruit, lemon peel, grassy, and piney, in progression. Very basic and old-school, it would seem, but it works very nicely.

T: Delivers exactly as the nose would predict, with bright, vivid tastes that meld nicely from one to another. So nice to have a super-fresh IPA to drink. Starts very citrusy and finish is slightly dank, earthy, and piney.

F: Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Solidly constructed, well-balanced. Drinks very well, pretty sessionable with this ABV.

O: Maybe I am overdoing it or maybe I am tired of all the bells and whistles with IPAs these days, but this delivers the basic IPA experience very, very nicely, and the collaborative breweries should be rewarded for that.
