16 oz. can dated 5/4/20. Poured into Aslin Anniversary glass because internecine fight fight fight!
L: 1.5 finger fluffy white head with decent retention and spotty lacing, plus a cap and ring. Beer is a hazy golden orange color.
S: Lots of peach and orange/grapefruit, with some citrus up-front. Promise of grassy/earthy finish.
T: Delivers what nose promises, essentially. Peachy and melony, with citrus running in and out and ending on a decidedly grapefruity finish, interspersed with more of a light grassy earthiness than something dank and piney.
F: Light-moderate body with moderate carbonation. Decent drying on palate, making it fairly crushable even at the enhanced ABV. Soft, rounded flavors, well-balanced.
O: My only question here is why they made this a more potent brew, as it was very nice the way it was at a lighter ABV, but I have my biases. They did a very nice job with this and anytime you do a nice job with Galaxy and Citra, I'm going to end up liking it a lot.
