Can into Nonic Pint (Canned 2/16/26)

Look: Super hazy, orange yellow body, pouring a frothy, 1.5 finger head which slowly dissipated into a nice cap
Smell: Juicy citrus undertones, with a grassy and herbaceous hops. Pineapple, mango and orange. Some biscuity malt. Medium strength
Taste: Tropical fruits, mango and orange, lemon. Medium bitterness from herbaceous hops with a touch of pine. Finish brings out some of that malt, with some earthiness. Lingering mango, lemon zest and grass
Feel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, creamy texture
Overall: Verry good brew. The nose was a let down, but the taste really surprised me

16oz can poured into a snifter

A- pours a hazy dull orangish-brown with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring around the glass

S- herbaceous tropical hop nose with notes of mango, guava, pineapple, passionfruit and zesty tangerine. A hint of pine

T- grassy up front, followed by tropical notes of mango, pineapple & guava. Mid-palate gives a hint of pine and a hint of doughy malt. The finish gives more mango and pineapple, with a linger of zesty grapefruit

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns creamy into the finish

On tap, pours a very hazy deep orange. Smell starts out with a bang, like a pineapple, berry, grape fruit salad, but it falls off quickly. Taste just doesn't ever come together. Not up to Veil's usual standards.

Light and citrusy up top, with a little bit of bite and some nice bitterness that mellowed out as the glass got shorter. Light straw in color, with a feel to match, a little less than I expect for a double.

16 oz. can from early May, 2020, poured into Aslin Juice Bomb Teku glass.

L: 1.5F head with good retention, leaves sheets of lacing on the glass and a cap and ring. Beer is a hazy golden orange.

S: Mostly orange and citrus up front, with a healthy promise of pine and earth on the finish.

T: Citrus up front, but if you wait for it to warm some peach comes through with it (that's the Galaxy). Piney and earthy finish, but neutral and smooth.

F: Moderate side of light bodied, light to moderate carbonation. Very easy-drinking as while it's not very drying or light the flavors are well-rounded and balanced and go down super-easy.

O: This is the real winner of Anniversary Week. Nicely done.
