Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a tulip shaped tumbler.
Appearance: The one finger head stays around for a little bit and leaves behind a lot of lacing all over the glass. It's a murky, pale yellow/straw color.
Smell: It's an absolutely fantastic aroma. Easily the best aspect of this beer. There's a lot of fruitiness at first of grapefruit, orange, lemon, mango and pineapple. That's followed up by a dank, pure, hop resin aroma.
Taste: It starts off sweet with moderately sharp grapefruit and tangerine flavors. It's not bitter per se but there is a hint of dank, piney hop resin astringency in the finish.
Mouthfeel: It's medium bodied, pillowy and creamy with a soft, medium low carbonation tingle. It does get a little bit cloying after a while but it's not that bad.
Overall: An excellent beer with a lot of hop character and an absolutely spectacular aroma. It would be cool to try this side by side with Other Half's actual DDH Mylar Bags and even blind taste them. But The Veil did an excellent job with their version, there's no doubt about it.
