Blueberry Double Chocolate Chip Maple Marshmallow Mocha Triple Stack Pancake Imperial Stout aged in Laird's Apple Brandy Barrels for 18 months! A dedication beer to our great friend Henok from Omnipollo. Tastes like a deluxe brunch platter and chocolate chip pancakes with blueberry compote.

Look - Dark brown and opaque. Milk chocolate head.
Smell - Strong chocolate and jam notes. Not a lot of booziness. Powerful and enticing.
Taste - Really nice balance in flavors. The blueberry and chocolate blend nicely. Has several layers that you progress through as you drink it.
Feel - Very dense, like gelatin.
Overall - Very nice beer, flavor are on point. Certainly a decadent beer and one worth having again.

500 mL bottle, collaboration with Omnipollo. Poured into Goose Island Black Friday glass and allowed to warm.
L:Small thin light brown head with no retention except a thin light brown ring that persists. Beer is very dark brown.
S: Man, there is a lot going on here. Maple definitely comes through early, along with the blueberry. Something else that is chocolatey and marshmallowy together. But this comes off as if it's going to be offscale-high sweet.
T: Yeah, this is the sweetest beer I have ever tried. Maple, maple syrup, blueberry syrup, chocolate chips, marshmallow (yes!), hints of the Laird's barrel. Pour this directly onto your pancakes and I bet it is incredible.
F; Full-bodied, negligible carbonation. Getting all those tastes in and making them work together while retaining their character is impressive. But the high ABV and Laird's barrel just doesn't cut the sweetness enough and this really is super-cloying, even with a bit of heat showing up on the very back end.
O: I can't in good faith give this a superior rating because it's pancake syrup masquerading as beer (I was wondering why it was still available weeks after release when most Veil Black Friday stouts go in a flash). I can't in good faith give this a bad rating because it tastes good. But this definitely is a glad I tried it, never having it again thing. Except maybe on pancakes.

Crazy impressed with this. Everything works really well... blueberry isn’t overly jammy or acidic... fudgy chocolate hits throughout, and the sweet maple serves as a great aromatic and cuts the Brandy. Even the mallow sneaks through. So good.
