Served in a stemless wine glass
This beer pours orange and is turbid. It looks like orange juice. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves little lacing.
The smell is citrus forward. I get some grapefruit and melon.
The taste follows the smell. I get an initial tropical fruit taste followed by melon. Citrus enters and carries into the finish and aftertaste. Grapefruit really comes out in the finish.
Medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel
This is a good hazy DIPA. I like the grapefruit bitterness in the finish. The sweet NEIPAs all taste the same anymore.
