PKGD 10/|/25. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Hazy gold with 1-finger white frothy head with good retention and copious lacing.
S: Peaches, green fruit, white grapefruit, mandarin orange, and Quench gum.
T: Flavor is not cohesive with a lot of random hop and ester flavors that don’t fit that well together. Peaches, mandarin oranges, candied orange slices, pine, grapefruit, and herbal polyphenol heavy hop notes. It leaves a slightly astringent bitter quality in the finish and aftertaste.
M: Slightly gritty with medium body and full finish with a lot of polyphenol character.
O: Not really up my alley for a hazy - some sweetness would help modulate some of the aggressive polyphenol character.
