pineapple and passion fruit gose with pink sea salt, lots of body and sweetness, tasty but not amazing in a way that i expect from this brewery, who i know has the substance to support the hype, but my access has been so limited that i have yet to totally have that proven to me. i liked this though, the fruit is obvious and real to me, seems back sweetened rather than fermented to incorporate, its pure juice. looks a little thick and messy, deep duller orange colored with some bubbles but very little head, brassy to bronze even, hazy. the aroma is fresh and bright with equal parts pineapple and passion fruit, but also orange and white wine grape to me, tropical and summery, not very sour at all, its fruity sweet before its lactic tart in both smell and taste, clean though at least in that regard, and with some obvious wheat as its foundation, which i like. the flavor is juicy and sweet, some pineapple acidity and lemon pucker too, but its sugar before acid. nice salinity from the salt, helps dry out the back end a little bit, makes it mouthwatering, cool fruity recall after each sip, a touch heavy and unrefined feeling to me, almost overly malty and nowhere near as cleaned up as it could be, and too sweet to be refreshing really, so they kind of missed a little bit there for me. yummy flavors and good souring here, lots of fruit and all, good combination, but the objective quality of the beer overall isnt quite where i expected it to be from this beloved operation. still cool to drink a beer from them, always is, but i wanted a bit more from this, much as it was fun and tasty, there is a higher level where this could have and maybe should have been taken...

Big passion fruit and lighter pineapple character. Nice fruit/tart balance. Light to medium bodied and refreshing but I prefer the NNCC version.

The entire contents of a pint can fit inside a clear glass liter mug. The brew is murky and dark apricot-amber in color. The modest, yet enduring head is splotchy. Not uniform in color, it ranges from very light biege to apricot. It has a fruity smell with some orange, some passionfruit and even some mango. All those smells are there in the taste, too. But, it tastes odd, like there's too much oats muddling things up. None of the fruit is defined and the mouthfeel is too thick. The gose style generally can be expected to run more thinly across the palate and the good ones add a nicely sour bite. A good fresh squeezed orange juice brings more of that bite than is here. There's some residue at various spots inside the vessel, but it can't be called glass lacing. Although it is flavorful, this just doesn't work, especially for the specific style.

16oz can. Can bottom has date stamp in August of 2022.
Murky, dark yellow colored body. Brief head retreats to a skim cap. Leaves behind some tiny dots of lacing.
Aroma has big smells of pineapple, and also some passion fruit.
Taste follows the nose, and has lots of pineapple and some passion fruit. The passion fruit makes the beer more sour. Mix of fruity sweet and fruity sour flavors.
More than medium mouth feel, with a nectar-like texture. No real salt sensation tasted. Okay carbonation.
Tasty and thirst quenching.
