Poured from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug, this is obviously oat/wheat infused. It's dense and dull dirty blond with a modest off-white head. The aroma is of resinous hops, with some starch in the background. The taste is hoppy, both piney and resinous from front to back. The finish dries out a bit. Oats may also be responsible for the pleasant body delivering the taste. This is soft and light on the palate, which adds to the enjoyment of the hops. This is another example where the lack of glass lacing doesn't mean much so far as actual body goes. It gives very little alcohol to the tongue for its 8% ABV. With its excellent inclusion of soft mouthfeel and pronounced bitter hops, this is nothing short of a great example of how good this style can be.
