Personvl Spvce³
The Veil Brewing Co. IPA-Imperial / Double New England IPA
Spicy kiwi, lemon grass, peppery papaya, and tangy citrus hop flavors abound. Spicy kick with a clean, juicy and smooth feel. Triple dry-hopped Galaxy is deep Space exploration with a complex mission. Some old school earthy pine vibes pop out in the fin. This is a must.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/28/23. I was having a hard time figuring out whether "Personvl Spvce" and "Personvl Spvce³" were the same beer or not; it appears that this one is a newer batch number or "vintage" or something, although The Veil's website has Personvl Spvce³ (based on the label) for sale as just "Personvl Spvce".
Appearance: murky, thickly-hazed yellow hue, with two fingers of frothy ivory foam with a bit of a yellow-orange tint. Great!
Smell: sweet, with a bright hoppy character. Hops are citrusy, lemony, perhaps a little bit tropical. Nice, although not quite the total tropic bomb I was expecting!
Taste: sweet malt with a very earthy tropical flavor. I definitely get why they say papaya here -- it's not bright and juicy, really, but bordering on dankness and actually a bit on the bitter side.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a smooth creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer, and I want to give it an opportunity to grow on me, but I'm not sure I would drink a bunch of these in succession. The hop character, while tasty in this quantity, does not seem like a well I'm going to want to keep going back to.
