Copenhagen 7/5 2024. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. A long and winding mountainous road with steep slopes leading to what looks like a Satellite dish.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head, Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and distinct odor of ripe Tropical fruit - on the verge of being overripe. Prominent citric yet dusty notes. Ripe pineapple and papaya. Grapefruit. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a acerbic streak. Lingers for while. Finish is dry.
Strongly bitter and dry. As it should be square twice.
