Crossed Crossed is a DDH Hazy IPA brewed with a heavy dose of oats, a touch of wheat, then hopped with Galaxy in the whirlpool, then dry-hopped in two stages with Nelson in the first addition and Galaxy in the second addition. Hoppy strawberry shortcake vibes plus some Southern Hemisphere dankness.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 7/24/23.
Appearance: very murky orange hue with a finger of frothy ivory foam atop with perhaps just a hint of an orange cast. Pretty!
Smell: sweet, with some citrusy dankness and just a hint of some kinda herbal/spicy character. It's just on the verge of juicy, and I quite like it.
Taste: like the aroma, it's sweet, with a bit of citrusy character and a bit of dankness. There's a nice juiciness up front, but the finish has a bitterness that is just a little bit harsh. Overall good, but could be smoothed out a bit.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: an interesting beer. I wish the flavors were as smooth as the aroma, but still, it's nice.
