DDH Hazy DIPA brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Oxbow, Monkish and Other Half NYC. Inspired by an evening spent yelling at Amazon Echo together.

10 oz pour on tap at Frisco Taphouse in Gambrills, MD. Pours a turbid light yellow/cream color. Aroma and flavor feature ripe tropical fruit, citrus (orange, lemon), and wheaty malt with light sweetness. Mouthfeel is very soft - almost too little carbonation. Overall an above-average NEIPA but not quite world-class IMO.

Packaged 7/17/23. Collab with Monkish, Oxbow, and Other Half. Nice pedigree.
L: Pours a very hazy deep gold with a short white head that quickly thins on top but rings around the glass. Visible bubbles rise to the top. Thin irregular lacing.
S: Aromas of melon and mango, along with a little generic citrus. The melon stands out.
T: Citrus up front: orange, lemon, and grapefruit. Melon and mango in the middle. Finishes noticeably and pleasantly dry with just a little bitterness. No alcohol heat.
F: Pleasingly prickly mouthfeel. Medium to low carbonation.
O: Fantastic flavor meld of citrus into tropical fruit, then an agile pivot to the dry finish. Outstanding taste and feel more than make up for the relatively lesser look and smell.
