Hazy DIPA with a creamy oat base that is drenched in the amazing hop combination of Nectaron, Galaxy and NZ Cascade. Fantastic exotic fruit notes of lychee and cantaloupe.

From a 16oz can, dated 08/04/23. Served in a cervoise.
Pours an opaque mango flesh-orange with a finger of dense, creamy head. Retention is very good, leaving a sudsy cap and a solid sheet of persistent lacing.
Nose is dry and citrusy. Relatively faint fruity, yeasty, tropical aroma but what there is of it is pleasant.
Taste is dense, dank, and doughy. Tasting thick pineapple syrup reduction, bitter orange peel and ripe mango. Bread dough and dope - bhang water that bagels have been boiled in? Vanishingly low bitterness with a bright, guava-lime grace note at the finish.
Feel is thick and juicy, fairly heavy bodied even relative to the style with fine, tingly carbonation. Sticky lips, otherwise just amazingly clean-drinking given its heft. I don’t know how many 5’s I’ve given out in my career as a BA but I think…
Overall, I honest-to-Dionysus don’t know what else to ask for in a NEDIPA and I do love me an oat cream IPA. The brewer’s notes promise me lychee and cantaloupe and I have STILL never tasted a lychee, and I don’t get cantaloupe at all, but hey it’s tasty as fuck so really shut up.
