Picked up a single from the Blue Door Bottle Shop in Hendersonville 10-20-23 for $8.00. Packaged on 9-18-23; consumed 11-16-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy orange with very little head.
Nose is very nice, fresh citrus and tropical fruits are very strong and up front.
Taste is a large but light pale malt base that is hopped with a fruit bowl of tangerine, mango, and gooseberry. Finishes with a rind and pine hop; 8 out of 10 on my bitterness scale. Also there is a yeast forward finish after the Mosaic that results in a .25 score reduction.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and amazingly refreshing for such a big beer.
Overall a very nice TIPA, wish the finish was less yeasty.
