Pours a dirty hazy dark yellow with little foam but plenty of lacing. Aroma is meh, tons of overripe fruit and boozy sweetness as well as grapefruit. Taste is quite good. It tastes like a very fruity American barleywine, with not too much alcohol heat and burn, and with an aggressive flavor of grapefruit and dankness as well as ample pith. An overripe pineapple note comes in at the end as well as some mango character. Finish is bitter and quite coating. Plenty of candied fruit throughout as well. Feel is good, smooth and not too thick.
Overall, as an IPA, I think it's alright. As a barleywine, it's quite interesting and not too syrupy. Definitely a challenge to finish a pint, though. This one needs to be shared. The flavors are extremely strong and I think it's a little too hot for me to want to drink the whole can in one sitting.

Canned 7/22/24. Purchased at Scott's Addition and kept cold since.
L: Pours a very hazy medium orange with a short white head that immediately reduces to a sturdy film on top and thin but persistent ring around the glass. Tiny ribbons of lacing.
S: Aromas of ripe peaches and honeysuckle. No hint of alcohol.
T: Lots of citrus up front: orange, tangerine, and lemon-lime. A bit more tropical in the middle. Finishes dry and slightly bitter, with the heat arriving late. But it's a dry heat. Can't believe it's 12.5% ABV.
F: Medium mouthfeel. Medium to low carbonation. Did I mention it's 12.5%?
O: An inshanely drinkabilly quadaroopully ipa.

16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a hazy amber-orange with a one-finger creamy white head that has great retention
S- the citra and riwaka give off bold citrus notes; zesty pink grapefruit, tangerine. Undertones of peach & nectarine, with a hint of lime zest at the end
T- an onslaught of citrusy hop up front with red grapefruit and tangerine. Mid-palate gives plenty of stone fruit notes of juicy peach and nectarine. The finish is ever so slightly tangy with a zesty lime note, followed by sweet melon. Lingers of zesty grapefruit with a hint of grass
M- medium heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a thick and viscous mouthfeel that continues into a creamy warming finish, hop burn lingers on the throat
O- this one punches you in the mouth, a hop bomb that lingers long after
