We started with a simple malt bill, light hopping and long boil to add caramelization and layers of flavor. Then we fermented with a clean American Yeast strain that allows the Marris Otter malt to shine through.

Copenhagen 14/5 2024. 47,3 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Guy perceiving himself as a Clown in the mirror putting on a tie. So much for a job with a silly dress code.
Pour clear dark maroon with a red hue and a small yellow-ish head. Stable. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and sugary odor mingling with dark sweet liqueur. Brow sugar and caramel. Raisins and plums. Alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit greasy and sticky and almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong and sugary sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and laden with sweet liqueur. Lingering. Finish is sugary and boozy.
Potent and sugary without being cloying. Enjoyable sipper.
