Poured a black body with no head nor lace. The aroma comes across mostly just boozy and malty, almost like a barleywine, with a somewhat vinous and dark fruit aroma. Sticky and heavy body with some boozy heat and instead of whiskey or coffee I get something like peanut butter and jelly (roasted, dry malts and then something that reminded me of figs and prunes with a sweet edge), and beer is dry but not coffee dry as at one point it reminded me a praline (cracker and chocolate with that touch of vanilla). Then there is a slightly puckering sour, boozy finish, but not hot, and then the beer is done and it's a slow sipper for sure.
