Dark when viewed through the glass, ruby if you look at a bit through the light. A small, off-white lace around the tulip. Even after drinking it down a bit the lace is stuck to the side of the glass above the brew.

The aroma is super-clean hop with a hint of rye spice, and it's followed by the flavor. It's not a hop-bomb, it's not super-bitter. The malt and body are in good balance with the bitterness, instead it's all flavor hops on the nose and tongue that rock it out for a while in your mouth. The rye brings a hint of spiciness to the party on your tongue, more of a tickle than anything...
