A: Pours a clean pitch black with a tan foamy head that recedes into a 1/8" surface coverage with patchy lacing.
A: Smells intensely of freshly ground and cold brewed coffee and heavily toasted bread. Not getting much of the vanilla on the nose.
T: Tastes wonderful. Intense bitter heavily roasted coffee balanced by decent but not overwhelming amounts vanilla and caramel like sweetness.
F: Rich and smooth, mild carbonation, bitter but appropriately so. A little slick, and hides the 7.6% abv pretty well.
O: Overall, this is a great coffee and vanilla flavored stout, and glad Mumford didn't go imperial with it. Cheers!

M: Thick, mouth-coating
O: It's exactly as described and that's a good thing. Does everything well.
