Received as an extra in a trade.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip an incredibly milky pale pale golden hue with a good two finger creamy white head that fades slowly to leave a thin dense blanket. The color is possibly the most turbid I've ever seen....and I'm in New England!
S - Aromas of green hops, slightly dank citrus, flashes of tropical papaya, little earthy, smells like it has some Mosaic going on.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Surprisingly sweet, like a super super over ripe pineapple. Big green hops, ruby red grapefruit, citrus peel. Finish is oily pithy bitterness. The sweetness is a little herbal, not malt sweetness at all. Or at least it doesn't come across as that.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, almost heavy bodied. Creamy oats presumably. Finish is nicely creamy.
O - Overall this was a very solid IPA from the west coast. The sweet tropical note is quite pleasant along with loads of citrus. Finish is solid with a nice body. Very enjoyable.
