Pours a clear amber with a nice pile of foam in the Duvel nonic. Maybe a hint of coppery color. It does have an inviting roast malt aroma. Taste is very much caramel as in the all-day sucker. There is just a touch of herbal hop flavor and a wee smidgen of resiny bitterness in the finish.
Overall this is worth trying if you like the Oktoberfest style, as I do. It does go down easy, though perhaps a bit simpler than some of my favorites. From the 16 oz can purchased at BottleCraft. Not dated. Bottom of the label mentions Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company with no explanation.
