Schwarzian Derivative Maple Barrel Aged pours black, with a very small, tan head. The aroma is rich with rye whiskey notes, but lots of sweet maple. The flavor is sweet maple, hints of rye whiskey mixed in, and an earthy roasted cereal backbone. Very thick, but also flat. Overall, a vast, rich, dense, sweet black lager.
