330ml bottle served in a hotel glass in Mizonokuchi station. Fill date: 28/03/2023. Best before 28/03/2033. Bought it at Tap & Crowler in Shibuya yesterday.
Pours dark brown, not quite stout black but getting pretty close. Pours with almost no head. Looks thick and still. Smell is raisins, booze, figgy pudding. Oak, something resembling cake and sherry.
Taste is more chocolate and molasses, booze still comes across. Almost a charred character. Delicate cake note gone, but something sherry-like or fruity in that direction remains. Something cola-like, something nutty.
Mouthfeel is thick, smooth, still. Overall, it's OK.
