Sampled at Michigan Beer Fest. Deep blackish color with tan head. Light aromas of cherry cordial or cherry-chocolate truffles. Light to medium bodied, which was a bit disappointing -- not really beefy enough. Slightly odd but not entirely unwelcome tart, sour cherry taste that lingers into the finish. Not very complex and not amazing, but it's not all too bad either.

Sampled this at the Polar Beer Fest. I knew from the start this was a tough one. It has an off smell that is reminiscent of vinegar. Taste is very acidic, with the tartness seeming to come from anything but cherries. There is no balance at all to this. Not a great effort.
