Pours smooth and dark, rather minimal head and very clean stout aroma. The cocoa (and really just a hint of vanilla) fuse nicely and the chile adds just a touch to the finish. The alcohol is completely hidden from the taste and if tasted blind, I would have NEVER guessed the ABV, however, just a tad sweeter than I would prefer, but crushable nonetheless! This beer is screaming to spend a spring, summer and fall in a rye or rum barrel to reveal it's beautiful butterfly of a magical beer in the winter!
