Canned on 4/26/22; consumed on 5/19/22
Pours an opaque lemon-gold body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, white foam; good head retention leaves a thin layer of cap, a moderate, creamy collar, and comprehensive spattering of webby/spotty lacing strewn across the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens to a pungent hit of dank white grape phasing into more vibrant fruit punch as lemon zest invigorates a pure citric undertone and creamy mango crests over the back end of the bouquet.
Taste brings lemon enhanced with grassy resins into sticky orange and clementine through the mid-palate, where dank pineapple sits atop a slight, flaky malt and slick, mossy mango resounds on the finish.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-light body with moderate carbonation easing to a silky texture informed by slick resins, eventually forming a punch of juiciness over the mid-palate; a residual grit glides over the back end, leaving a pseudo-bitterness meandering over the finish.
Slick resins impart a lightness belying the 8% ABV, allowing myriad tropical nectar profiles to fuse and flow throughout a sleek, composed expression.
