Well hot damn, a familiar refrain from ol' bArF, writing the first ever review of a beer for this Next Glass owned website. Respect Next Glass :) Had this one a few years ago, nonetheless, traffic being what it is, still the first to review it here.
Pours a pretty mahogany like gleaming the cube color. I like it. 1/3" beige head on the top. Also had this one up at the shooting spot, good fishing or shooting beer. So aroma, its somewhat difficult to score this style, there's so few of them these days. Caramel, toffee, unsweetened. Seems on point.
The taste is a malty session strength brew. Plenty of earthy amber ale like notes to it with a tad more cooked/roasted/toasted malt aspect to it. Despite the namesake, its pretty smooth in the mouthfeel. Its got that early morning drinking feel to it, or if not that, at least vibes of the great outdoors, skiing, fishing, shooting. Should try it just sitting by the river.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
