From an undated 16 fl. oz. can acquired on December 18, 2022.
The appearance is handsome with its red-hued chestnut amber color under a modest tan head that laces as it fades.
The aroma is certainly Irish red. Always hard to describe but I get caramel and barley malts, maybe an apple sensation, as well as a lower profile floral sensation. But these ales have a unique aroma.
The mouthfeel is smooth and about medium.
The flavor has a roasted and ashy, peat moss malt sweetness to it with a balanced traditional floral bitterness at the finish. Enjoyable.
