This new hazy IPA hits it out of the park! Full of flowery, citrusy & tropical notes, as well as a velvety mouth feel from added flakes oats.

Good not great hazy, if its one tap give it a whirl, drinkable with that general haze profile but mid, not top of the shelf.

It came drawn off a tap and delivered in a clear pint glass. The head is modest and white. Apricot-amber in color, the brew is dull and substantially hazy. Its aroma is breadlike and slightly citrusy. The body is pretty good, but not particularly silky smooth. There's very little, if any, malt to taste. This drinks grapefruit-like bitter and that’s OK. But, good hazies generally have enough starches to counterbalance or at least soften the hop taste. This one doesn't, which doesn't make it a bad beer, but it's not what is expected from the style. Despite its looks, including some decent glass lacing, this drinks more like a West Coast IPA. Oh, the irony of drinking a beer named for a ballplayer that doesn't drink. Go Phillies.
