A couple of twelve ounce cans got emptied into a clear glass liter mug and this was learned. It's well carbonated, but produced only a reasonable head that was short-lived. Likely, it was off-white. The brew is brightly light copper-amber in color, very pleasant and on the translucent side. An aroma which blends malt, likely barley and hops, perhaps piney is to be had. There's an earthy hoppy and malt combination to the taste. Not overly bitter, yet full flavored, this has a great balance for a modern American IPA. Nutty might be the best taste reference, overall. Even the mouthfeel and finish are consistent. If you like a modern IPA to taste something close to the original, this is for you. Don't expect fruity references, nor a body made soft by an overdose of oats and wheat. Even without any decent glass lacing, this should satisfy any traditional IPA lover.
