Coelacanth Brewing "Selfish Giant"
$3/5 oz. on tap at the brewery on 17 June 2017
Notes: "Scotch Ale, 7.0% ABV". Slightly hazy deep mahogany brown body with orange and yellow highlights beneath a creamy off-white head that holds well. The aroma delivers caramel and burnt sugar with a light roasty edge. The flavor follows, malty, with some additional apple-like fruitiness from the yeast. Medium bodied and creamy with a moderate carbonation.

Poured a clear golden body with minimal head and lace ring down glass. Balanced aroma of roasted and caramel malts. Sticky sweetness with caramel/toffee vibe that finishes dry thanks to bitter hopped finish. Decent scotch ale that isn't too boozy but packs a bit of sweet punch with a little extra hoppy goodness on finish.
