Pours a hazy golden color with an egg white head that settled into a sparse cap with some lacing.
The aroma is of light lemon and some farmhouse funk, clove. Some green apple.
The taste is of a light bready malt. Lemon and clove standout. Some bubblegum and hay.
The feel is moderate with fizzy carbonation. Nice balance, slightly bitter in the finish. Not quite as dry and crisp for the style.
A nice saison. Good flavors. A bit heavy for the style.

Poured from a can, dated 6/26/17.
Look is a cloudy yellow, with a thin foamy head that dissipates immediately.
Smells like a pretty standard saison yeast, grains and earthy hops.
Taste is similar, with an odd aftertaste, like old musty yeast or a dry chalky funk.
Feels pretty good, light body with some sweetness and bitter funky finish.
Overall pretty good. Not my favorite saison but it's not bad.

Pours a hazy deep straw/pale gold producing an enormous, finely bubbled shaving cream like, lasting, white head that leaves remarkably little, but sticky, spidery lace. Aroma is sweet, Belgian yeast fruity peach, pear, apple, banana, spicy, floral & lightly phenolic with a acidic or sour hint. Taste is sweet, dry cracker & pale malts, with a dry grass & lemon hoppiness, banana, alcohol, Belgian funk, peach/pear fruitiness, pepper, with phenolic, sour and bitter flavors appearing in the finish, rolling over into the aftertaste where the sweetness disappears & the sour, bitter & alcohol prominence intensifies. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate-high carbonation, prickly, dry in the astringent aftertaste.

12 ounce can poured into an oversized tulip.
South Carolina understands, the world needs more saisons in cans.
Smell is sweet and floral. Bubblegum and vanilla. Flavor follows suit. Sweeter than I think our American palates are expecting, but I don't find it outside the realm of what Dupont would offer. There's a rush of sweetness, sweet breadiness, iris or some flower I know well, and lingering pancake. I already know today's beer geerk wants something tart or sour in a saison, but I enjoy something like this all the same. It may veer a tad sweet, but still.
Plus, it's still pretty refreshing in feel. Says it's 7 percent but doesn't feel so heavy. The sweetness will wear on you eventually if you just want refreshing, as it lingers quite a bit.
This is enjoyable. They probably could have toned down on the malt and produced an even more refreshing brew, but this still satisfies.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is cloudy yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is yeast and spices and is very nice. The taste is yeast driven with some spices and malt thrown in. Overall, a really nice saison.
