On tap
Pours black in color with a one-finger creamy khaki head that reduces to a ring. Smell is pure coffee and espresso, earthy and herbal. There's a hint of roasted barley, but mostly coffee. Taste follows the nose with a blast of fresh espresso, undertones of chocolate and roast. Medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and finish. Coffee lovers will enjoy this, but it's rather one dimensional

L- Inky black, pours with 2mm tan cap.
S- Smells toasted/charry.
T- Taste follows the smell^, + hints of smoke and log ashes.
F- It's one of those beers where the taste is vibrant enough but vs a moderate ABV% so that it comes over as a little thin to me, ie another 1-1.5%ABV might take this to a whole other level (and price range of course!). Rounded but a bit thin, as such.
O- It has quite a lot going on for the ABV%. It's an OK coffee stout; I'd like to see a 6.5-7% version of it. Mercifully I barely notice the lactose aspect of this one, certainly no sweetness (or over sweetness) as can happen. I suspect there is just enough lactose to give it it's rounded aspect, and not enough to introduce sweet notes.
440ml can. BB: 31/03/2021 ps. A late tip, don't serve over-chilled. It seems to begin notably opening up, and adding to the noted^ lack of Feel as it warms somewhat - the last 2Cms of the glass are the most enjoyable!
