Served on fraught at the Öl Nano Brewery & Bar the advantages of which is a handsome half, the disadvantage that even it being a fairly chilly day it was served icy cold but when it warned I was rewarded with some grapefruit & citrus

A 440ml can with a BB of Feb 2018, so it's just out of date. Purchased a little while back from Trembling Madness in York. The label calls it a Mosaic IPA.
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. Can-conditioned. A rich amber colour with subtle haze and moderate carbonation. Yields a large head of frothy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of bright fruity hops with hints of white grape, melon, lemon, mild citrus zest, subtle tropical fruit, faint leafiness, earthy yeast and pale malt. Possesses a tart twang reminiscent of rhubarb. Rather good.
T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with notes of lemon, grapefruit, zesty citrus, peel, white grape, melon, tropical fruit, leafiness, earthy yeast and pale malt. Very dry, followed by a crisp, substantial bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent; hop oils tickle the palate. Aftertaste of fruity aromatic hops, citrus, white grape, tropical fruit, leafy bitterness, earthy yeast and pale malt.
O: Nice - a tasty, balanced IPA. Looks decent, while the aroma and flavour are replete with aroma hops, earthy yeast, light malt and a crisp bitterness. Good body. An excellent showcase for Mosaic and the character it can produce in a beer. Goes down a treat; worth sampling if you have the chance.
