Poured from the draft at the brewery into a snifter. This beer has beautiful dark red brown, ruby color. No head or lacing, but I love the color and smooth feel of the beer. It has a very fruity smell and taste. Cherry for sure but also dark grapes and orange peel. Nicely sweet with a bit of pucker, a tangy after taste. This beer becomes more interesting with warming, cinnamon and some nutmeg comes through. Very enjoyable on a cold winter night in northern New Mexico. Love the color of this beer!
