1 PINT 0.9 FL OZ bottle
Served in a snifter
This beer pours a brilliant copper color with blood orange highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.
It has a grape and vinous aroma. It really smells more like a wine than beer.
The taste follows the smell. I get grapes, wine, and oak. The finish is bone dry.
Medium leaning toward thin body with a dry mouthfeel
This is an interesting beer. I have had very few, if any, port barrel aged beers. I like this one. The dry finish leaves me eager for the next sip.
