To me, this clearly should be styled as an English IPA. New Bristol has a well-balanced blend of hops and no discernible typical American AIPA hops tendency (Northwest or otherwise) to me. While I try not to venture into this discussion because of my aversion to AIPA-dominance, The Joy of Sesh is not an AIPA as I have known them for too long and I will ask BA to have the styling changed to EIPA. (For the record, UnTappd styles this as a Session IPA.) I have rated it as an EIPA.
As for the good Overall Hugs I give New Bristol, that is to encourage more micros in Bristol plying the tourist trade. New Bristol seems to be having fun, but also hasn't distinguished itself that much from other micros. So here's to hopes that they do as they mature. Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
