12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Pale golden pour, light cloudiness, skin of white foamy head. Light bready, biscuity aroma. Taste follows, grainy, bready, light. Soft drinking summer lager.

always good to see new beers from these guys, this has to be one of their lightest ever, a real basic pale lager with just a little more malt character than a lot of its peers have, a crackery sort of european pils malt thing, still very dry and out of the way, but it keeps this from just being a yellow beer, just crafty enough, i dig it, especially in hot weather, its refreshing without being boring, and the lagering is clean and crisp, nice execution overall. the aroma of this is mineral forward with a light doughy thing to the yeast, the faintest herbal hop thing, and not much else, smells like a beer, fresh and balanced. the flavor is more grain driven, the yeast more neutral, and with just a mellow back end hop bitterness and light floral aspect that helps it finish, simple in a good way, and even kind of frothy feeling, not watered down to me at all. so many beers in this space i like them for what they arent, cheap tasting, thin feeling, metallic, that kind of thing, but this is one that i actually like for what it is, crisp, flavorful on the grain side, rushing and excited carbonation, and tidy on the ferment, a quality offering from one of my favorite idaho breweries. made for all day drinking, i am happy to oblige.
