Pours a clear, bright golden coloration with a large, frothy head. Smells of slightly grainy, doughy malt, floral, citrus hops and estery fruit notes. Taste is a decent balance of slightly sweet'ish, doughy and very slightly grainy malts, citrus/orchard fruit hops and fruity yeast esters, with notes of honey, straw, citrus peel, gooseberry, green apple and pear. Finishes quite dry, with a very light bitterness, equally light tartness and some citrus and estery fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation.
A nice, hoppy Saison with a good balance of flavors. Nothing too special, but still enjoyable enough.
