DDH Hazy Pale with Nelson Sauvin™, Galaxy® & Riwaka™

A full-bodied, satisfying pale, replete with unmalted grains & a generous dry-hop to maximise aroma & texture. A tropical treat that’s heavy on the Nelson, grown in the Sunrise Valley & not your typical grape-forward crop, alongside additions of Prysma™ & Amplifire™ that add richness & a fresh dank hue.
Passion Fruit, Mango & Redblush Grapefruit.

This is my second from Left Handed Giant and the two were quite different and separated by seven years. It was a high ABV Saison, though still good with food, and made me say "how do they do that?" I suppose I'm still saying that, but more about how they have matured as a company, now almost ten years old. They are this vacation area's leading brewer, not so much age as their integration with the community. They crowd-funded their expansion with 80% coming from their neighbours. Left Handed now has four venues and two production plants and a network of independent pubs. For all this (and more that I missed), I give LHGBC excellent Overall Hugs.

As for Deep Green, it Looks like a Hazy I'd want to drink for refreshment... with a foam that stays lively until the end. Smells remind me of a tropical fruit punch. And Tastes largely follow, but the best is the finish which stays largely balanced and doesn't let the bitter hops interfere. Medium-mouthed, yet also soft.
