a jazzed up version of their already delicious table beer. they give it a delicate dry hop and some pineapple, but its all very subtle, pretty darn impressive, like all of their stuff. this beer is delicious, incredibly light and dry, and a fruit beer thats not overdone, its just mellow and an accent, but the pineapple is juicy and fresh and has a flash of sweet to it before its gone in the finish. the hops, whatever they use here, is zesty and fresh and works great with the light pineapple juiciness, but this isnt a fruit beer in the traditional sense, not at all, its a mild slightly wild saison, pale barley might be it for the grain, maybe some oat or something to give it this roundness, but its just food for the yeast, which has elements of a white winey french saison strain and also some bretty funk to it, still developing but the beer is dry, drinkable, and not so yeast driven and weird that it would sit heavy in the belly, not even a little bit, i could drink this forever. super bubbly and light on the palate, a half a second of fresh pineapple and a half a second of these hops and the its gone. refreshing and amazing, a neat tweak to an already exceptional brew. these guys are definitely becoming one of my favorites. every beer i have had from them has been both inventive and brilliantly executed. stoked!
