Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking red/orange milky cloudy color trimmed by a soft white foamy head. This dissolved fairly quick to leave some mild sporadic lace.
The aroma had sweet and tart raspberries up front with some creamy vanilla malty lactose.
The flavor leads with the sweetness of the fruit and cream. Sour and tartness seem pretty faint. Mild aftertaste of raspberries and cream.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, maybe a touch closer to full bodied. Fair sipping quality. Nothing overly sour or tart due to the creamy behavior thickening the body. Low carbonation and nice ABV. Mild raspberry creamy finish.
Overall, nice authentic raspberry beer that I wouldn't mind having again.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on January 7, 2019. Brewed with Indiana Pilsner, flaked oats, Mosaic hops and lactose sugar. Nice fruit flavors with a touch of smooth sweetness.

16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but was just released. Pours lightly hazy ruby red/orange color with a 1 finger dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy raspberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, vanilla, cream, cracker, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no cloying, puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky/grainy, and fairly acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.4%. Overall this is an awesome fruited milkshake kettle sour. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of raspberries, fruity/acidic yeast, lactose, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and pretty refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Not overly lactic. Very flavorful for the ABV. Awesome balanced juicy/jammy berries and Lacto complexity; with a nice lactose and oat/malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example as expected.

This is a raspberry fruit bomb, and it’s delicious. The pour is a raspberry color (shocker!), no head, and a nose filled with raspberries. The taste is all about sour raspberries, with a little salty flavor to smooth things out.
Well done by Central State.
